Remove hidden data from a PDF
Clear metadata and remove attachments, scripts, document actions, link annotations, comment notes, hidden layers, and text nobody can see from a PDF: white or transparent text on a white background, invisible text that is not a scan's search layer, and text outside the page. Highlights and other markup stay visible without their comment text, and form entries and bookmark titles are kept; bookmarks that jump using an action may stop working. Visible text, very small text and text covered by boxes or pictures is not removed, so use Redact PDF for that.
